"Reddit" is the sixth most searched term on Google in the United States

This is less of a glowing win for Reddit and more of a harsh indictment of the current state of the internet.

The internet 15+ years ago was not perfect, but you could at least search for a topic and get a real human opinion from someone's website. Nowadays search is so useless from SEO-optimized fluff that if you just want an experienced opinion on something, you have to search Reddit.

Reddit needs to make their own search engine with a fast, flexible, and easy way to search all of reddit with an old-school "google" style interface.

Most of my searches on Google for tech or reviews include site:reddit.com
