UMatrix: "is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices"

Chrome just took out uMatrix and some other extensions. Are there good altenatives (besides stop using Chrome) ?

When a company shows you who they are, believe them. If an ad company selling you a browser says you don't have permission to block ads, what makes you think they won't be making (or have already made) other customer hostile decisions?

There's alternative browsers out there, some of them quite good.

A trillion dollar company is screwing me again. Any tips on how I can keep supporting them?

I started using uBlock Origin a while ago instead of umatrix and it did what I wanted automatically. Brave has it integrated so its not going away, despite Google's wishes.

I'm using AdGuard DNS on both macOS and Android.
