MCPs Are Mostly Hype

LinkedIn is infested with people claiming it will solve every problem.

Great news that we have at last found a silver bullet.

Not to say they don't have a use, just need to be used appropriately.

I built an open source MCP server in node.js. Nobody has used it. I use it, I find it kind of cool.
